英語考研必備詞根

　　詞根：fin = limit 結束，限制

　　1. final

　　助記：fin(終，極)+ al(…的)→終極的→最終的.

　　釋義：a. 最后的，最終的，決定性的

　　舉例：

　　You must have been on stage until the final curtain.

　　2. confine

　　助記：con(加強)+ fin(范圍)+ e →給出范圍→限制

　　釋義：v. 限制;n. 界限，邊界

　　舉例：

　　Let us not confine all our thoughts to the pretty occurrences of the day.

　　我們不要把所有的注意力都局限在那天發生的微不足道的事情上，考研英語《2018考研英語高頻詞根（九）》。

　　3. define

　　助記：de(加強)+ fin(范圍)+ e →使有范圍→給…下定義，限定

　　釋義：v. 定義，詳細說明

　　舉例：

　　It is hard for us to define those abstract items.

　　我們很難給那些抽象的事物下定義。

　　4. infinite

　　助記：in(無)+ fin(范圍)+ ite(…的)→沒有范圍的→無限的

　　釋義：a. 無窮的，無限的

　　舉例：

　　The infinite of the space is still a mystery to us human beings.

　　無限的太空對我們人類來說仍是個謎。
